Dining on a Mooda

Picture
The design is inspired from a mooda.
And the idea is why just sit on a mooda?

The slanting sticks create a visual deception
making the audience feel the base of the table
is curved in the first glance. An all wood structure
with a glass top showing the geometric beauty.

Layback

Picture
This chair was created for the purpose of
complete comfort and to increase the
possibility of not wanting to do anything
but laze around in the wilderness.

The frame is a rigid weather/moisture
resistant structure for maximum strength
and enough flexibility, with an optional
plastic covering for the sitting as well as
a thick fabric or leather. This also helps
identify an outdoor piece from an indoor one.

A collection of Chairs (with and without arm rests)
were designed for a specific residential market
in South America. Using earthen colours and
easily available eco-friendly materials the
designs were carried out.

With the increase in the level of comfort it was
also kept in mind that the products should have
the same design elements.

The stylisation of the products is an amalgamation
of both Indian and European Design styles.

Tumhari Kahani

Picture
A table was designed and developed for children
between the age group of 5 to 12 years.

A table having multiple visual options such as
board games as well as stories in the form of
puzzles was proposed.

The idea revolves around the fact that children at
this age usually have a small focus span for things.
Using the six sides of a cube as the basic frame for
board games and some stories was designed to
improve the functions of the table and in turn keep
the children always curious towards it.

a frame for an outdoor furniture was proposed.
The seating is made using locally available
materials such as jute and cane.
